Three of Change videographers for the Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation’s AgInvestor Lab. The 2 day shoot took place at the Airlie Center outside of Washington, D.C.
 
Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation advances technology-centered partnerships for investment and distribution across the developing world. As part of the US government's Feed the Future initiative, its goal is to put innovative agriculture technologies into the hands of smallholder farmers to quickly and sustainably improve productivity and incomes.
 
Innovation’s AgInvestor Lab: Getting Your Technology to the Smallholder Market. This was an intensive, interactive workshop, designed to help participants improve their business concept and bring their technology to market with the twin goals of creating a profitable business while improving smallholder productivity. At the workshop, participants had the opportunity to interact with investors and funders, coaches and mentors as well as peers and other experts who could help them improve their business concept and technology.

Three of Change Produces Graphics & Animation for National Geographic's 125th Anniversary Gala

On Jan. 13, 2013, the National Geographic Society celebrated its 125th anniversary and Three of Change produced the graphic design & animation for their Anniversary Gala. The project was particularly exciting technically because these graphics were projected on the interior of Washington, D.C.'s National Building Museum creating a truly immersive experience! "They hung a stories-high screen from the ceiling and filled it with breathtaking images from the Nat Geo archives. Thus, more than 600 guests dined against a backdrop of playful baby wild animals, the Great Pyramids, exploding volcanoes, people surfing massive waves, penguins on ice floes, and soaring aerial views of forests and deserts."

“180 Days: Inside An American High School” is a four hour documentary series being produced by National Black Programming Consortium for PBS. Main Title Sequence and Graphic Design produced by Three of Change.
 
Following the day-to-day stories of students, parents, teachers and staff at the Washington Metropolitan High School (DC MET), “180 Days: Inside An American High School” is an intimate portrait of a public school that attempts to make a difference in the lives of students each and every day. Whether they are preparing for college or becoming teen moms, the students at DC Met face many challenges with spirit and resilience and welcome us to challenge many of our own assumptions as we travel with the first graduating class to commencement. Led by a charismatic and outspoken young principal, DC Met invites us in for an unprecedented first-hand account of life inside of the school reform movement.

Good Egg Media approached Three of Change in April of this year to bring their filming script to life.  We knew the project was of particular importance and committed design and illustration resources immediatley.  Run Hide Fight was a Department of Homeland Security grant funded initiative.
 
“The authorities are working hard to protect you and protect our public spaces. But sometimes bad people do bad things ... and unfortunately you need to be prepared for the worst.” Those tense words are spoken by a narrator at the start of this very important 6-minute video that was made in Houston and has been viewed online no less than 1.7 million times. The three minute video animation visualizes the U.S. Governments global hunger and Food Security Initiative (Feed the Future). The video will premiere at the World Food Prize event, "The Norman E. Borlaug International Symposium" which is held each year in conjunction with the awarding of the World Food Prize in Des Moines, Iowa. Known as the "Borlaug Dialogue," this three-day event brings together international experts, policy leaders, business executives and farmers to address cutting-edge issues in food security and nutrition. In 2010, the event attracted over 1,000 participants from more than 65 countries, and it has been called "the premier conference in the world on global agriculture."

Three of Change designs graphics package for the new television series, Living our Principles

The content of this inspiring six-part documentary series, focuses on how people contribute to the better welfare of those in need, across various continents of the world.
 
Since the show has a dominant (but not exclusive) international feel, we focused on using footage that featured exotic rural imagery. The evolution of the titles are from an initial mark made on a piece of paper, to the flourishing of color and making that initial idea a reality. In this case reality is moving film footage.
 
An entire graphics package was created, complete with title sequence, maps, transitions and lower 3rds.
